Sora: This website allows you to have access to ebooks and audiobooks you can borrow. With over hundreds of options across many different genres, you can also glance at previews of any book you may be interested in borrowing, along with a brief summary.
Summer Literacy Experience(2023): You can discover things to read that other Sequoia students have made during the summer. There is a wide range of topics to sift through, all in different forms of media, like infographics. The use of Wakelet, a website that allows people to create collections that include articles, videos, and more on a topic of interest!
Goodreads: There are many options, lists, and recommendations you can browse in order to find the perfect book. There are many different genres to choose from, and you can create an account to access certain features. These features allow you to contribute to creating your own lists and reviews on stories you’ve read.
Typelit: This website allows you to browse a collection of classic books available such as 1984 by George Orwell and practice typing at the same time! You can choose whichever book you see and type along the story, while allowing you to see your word count accuracy. However, typing practice is not a necessity since it also has a “Reading Mode ” if you just want to enjoy the story as it is.
